the letter 'A'

A week project revolving around the letter 'A'. early forms of 'A' were phonetician symbols of cattle heads, the symbols were simplified as language developed and then rotated 180 degrees - giving us what we now see as the letter 'A'. further association is with the number one, first, top grade, prime.

i thought the simplest outcome from my research was to create the letter form out of a prime cut of beef from my local butchers.
